Hi there this recipe calls for substituting out some of the all purpose flour with oat flour the thing you wanna remember when you are replacing AP flour is you only want to go 1/3 cup of the replacement anything else you’ll have to add more liquid or more baking soda so just be careful you could also add 1 cup of all purpose flour 1/3 cup oats and then another third ofsome other type of flour .


6 tablespoons melted butter

2/3 cups sugar

one egg beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/3 cup oat flour

2teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoons baking soda

half teaspoon salt

three ripe bananas mashed

cloves cinnamon nutmeg ginger


Preheat oven 350 lightly grease and flour a loaf pan. In a large bowl stir together the melted butter and sugar when combined add one egg and vanilla until very creamy. In a separate bowl sift the flour baking soda baking powder and salt together with spices little by little add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternatingWith the mashed bananas. Mixing the batter smooth with each addition. Place the batter in prepared loaf pan bake 50 to 60 minutes rotating the pan halfway through the pan call 10 minutes before serving.

To make the oat flour I placed oats in my food processor and post them for 60 seconds or longer until you get the consistency of flour
